Overwiew

ZigEasy™ GEX series are Zigbee®3.0 or DigiMesh® / Ethernet coordinator gateways that allow you to connect a Zigbee® or DigiMesh® RF network to a local Ethernet or Internet network, with strong security options. You can easily and quickly create a robust, reliable and complex Zigbee®/DigiMesh® network and read or write to it from different types of servers, using Digi® International XBee technology.

GEX868 and GEX868S

GEX868 and GEX868S each integrate an XB8 module from Digi International configurable with the XCTU software, directly with the USB port of the device, or from a TCP/IP network. However, it has the proprietary DigiMesh firmware only.

GEX2400 and GEX2400S

GEX2400 and GEX2400S each integrate an XBee3 module from Digi International configurable with the XCTU software, directly with the USB port of the device, or from a TCP/IP network. XBee3 with ZigBee 3 can receive the proprietary DigiMesh firmware.

GEX Series

GEX2400 and GEX868 offers the simplest and most cost-effective way to connect a mesh network to a TCP/UDP/HTTPD server/client.

GEX 'S' Series

GEX2400S and GEX868S provide advanced data encryption and security features on the Ethernet side such as TLS1.2 and AES256, in its ‘S’ version, in cases where the device would communicate directly on the internet. It also offers a wide choice of communication protocols and advanced combinations. See the table below.
